September

On Labor Day weekend, (that would be the 5th and 6th of September), we'll be on Martha's Vineyard joining The Bunch Of Grapes to sign books at the MV Artisans Fair. The event is held in West Tisbury at the new Agricultural Hall. We'll be there on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 1pm.

At 7pm on 11th September we'll be reading in Providence, RI, at Books On The Square in Wayland Square.

October

We'll be joining the Big Apple Brits on the afternoon of Saturday 3rd October in New York for a reading and discussion. We'll be posting more info as it firms up, or check out Big Apple Brits.

On Thursday, 8th October we'll be visiting the English Speaking Union chapter in College Station, PA.

November On

Great excitment when Terry Wogan mentions the book on BBC Radio 2's Wake Up With Wogan, the most listened to show on UK radio. Wogan wonders at his inclusion among such "cultural touchstones" as the Wombles and Blue Peter.

In support of the Jamestown Art Center, we held a reading and signing in Jamestown, R.I. at the Schock Gallery down on the waterfront.

We had a fun book party on Martha's Vineyard with The Bunch Of Grapes, one of the U.S.'s truly great independent bookstores.

Our signing party at New York's Grolier Club was a great success. It was a fantastic venue. The Corner Bookstore were on hand selling books.

The Royal Oak Foundation, the U.S. arm of the National Trust and their members have been wonderfully enthusiastic about the book. We spent a morning in their offices signing hundreds of copies that members had already ordered and others that are available on their online shop ($15 including p&p).

Over at Anglotopia we just wrapped up Britannia In Brief Week, with interviews and guest posts from Leslie and William and a competition to win a copy of the book.

Leslie and William guest blogging at Travelocity's Window Seat Blog on some of the best but not so well-known Rock & Roll sites of London.
